Well, it's happened again! I get so busy I forget to update this diary.
I'm still going strong at the moment with my enthuisiasm, but I have hit a couple of hurdles which are a bit higher than one first thought (life has a habit of teaching it's lessons from time to time), but that has not dampened my enthuisiasm.
However, I doubt I'm going to meet my deadlines, but then again, if you don't try you don't get anywhere.
I have been concentrating my efforts lately on my ebay store , Search Engine Optimisation, Google Adwords, and affiliate marketing to try and generate cashflow to get my other investments going again.
Now, I need your opinion. I am in the process of redesigning my website to make it more worthwhile for you, my visitors.
I would really appreciate it if you could take the time to drop me a line and let me know what you would like to get from this site.
I am also in the process of refining my investment challenge as I feel that my challenge is a bit to vague. I want to change it so that you, the reader will also be able to undertake your own challenge. I was thinking of getting an internet forum added to this site so that we could all then share our ideas. Would that be of interest to you? If so, drop me a line. |

Wow, it's nearly been a month since my last report. Boy! time certainly gets away and a lot has happened since I last spoke to you.
I have been very busy working on my ebay store and working on another online commerce deal. I have also been looking at investment properties, but nothing has caught my eye as yet.
I'm also investigating a Franchise opportunity that has presented itself, and this could change everything.
One thing I have found is that this Journey seems to be taking on a life of its own and I've had to be flexible with my goals.
I've added a new section to this website called "EVERYTHING EBAY". The intention is that this section covers everything to do with ebay including a bookstore, training courses and links. You can access a temporary link through the Links page and the My Booklist page.
Let me know what you think, if you like the concept I will expand this site to include more sections like it.
Where is the e-zine I hear you ask? Hopefully I'll get some time to get it out to you all soon.

Well, it;'s been a while since I last reported my progress.
I've been very busy working with a life coach to help me focus on my goals and planning my strategies with great effect.
I've been progressing in real estate and promoting my photography on my ebay store - Bernie's Basement.
My studies are continuing and I'm learning a lot, as well as putting them into practice.
I'm updating the links page on this site to include my online businesses.
On top of all this I have been drafting my first e-zine which should be sent to my subscribers shortly. |

41 days into this challenge and I've acheived 28% of my goal!
I have aquired my first investment property this week. It will take a little time to get this investment going, but I don't have time to waste. I need to continue on to the next deal.
I had to sell my two share portfolios to finance this deal, but this new investment will bring in a higher cashflow.
My other investments are starting to bring in a small income.
It seems so long since I started this challenge, and although I've acheived a lot in a short time I still have a very long way to go. |

This week has been a very sad week. My first Mentor and very good friend to me and my wife, Bill, passed away after a long illness.
Bill, you were and will remain an inspiration to me. You've shown me how to live life to it's fullest and you've inspired me to create better things for me, my family, and friends.
Even when you were ill, you did not complain.
Put simply mate, you changed my life. I thank you and I will miss you, but I will also continue to try and achieve great things and live my life to it's fullest. |

Well, what a week!
I've been beavering away for two weeks getting all my planning going and not making a lot of money! However, I believe that all this hard work will pay off when my multiple streams of income start generating profits.
This week has brought ups and downs, and I'm finding this journey both exhilarating, testing and sometimes plain exhausting.
David Wright from Simply Budgets has included an article of my web site in his latest newsletter. My internet traffic has exploded. Thank you David. |

Well, another week has passed! I've got to really start earning some money.
I spent this week studying the FastCash on eBay Home Study course by Adam Ginsberg. This is a fantastic course, it really helped me to see the full potential of owning an ebay store. This course will really kick start your ebay business, or give you a new insight into the full potential of a well run ebay business. The author also runs a web site called ZTemplates. This site allows you to create professional HTML templates for your products.
I've finished the course and opened my store. It is called Bernie's Basement.
I've also ordered a photo cube and studio lights to allow me to take professional photos of my products. The package just arrived today and I can't wait to get going!
I'll begin to stock my store this week as well as contacting potential wholesalers.
This is my second stream of income and I'll keep you posted on how it progresses.
My Enlightened Millionaire Institute Protege studies start on February 02. I will be initially studying Real Estate.

One week in and still plodding along. This week was spent planning the strategies I will use to accomplish my goals, laying down the foundations and networking.
I have identified seven streams of income that I will be concentrating on over the coming two years.
I have enrolled in Robert Allen's Enlightened Millionaire Institute where I will be coached in Real Estate, the Share Market, Internet Marketing and Business.
I spent time building networks and subscribing my web site to affiliate programs in the hope that they will generate enough revenue to pay for it.
I spent most of this week laying down the foundations of my business, which included defining my aims, investigating strategies, and putting in place business systems to reduce my workload.
I also found some time to improve this web site.
I made no money this week, but I certainly spent some! |

Well, today is launch day for my web site. I have finally completed the initial phase of my project and there in no turning back now.
My web site is finally up and running and I've made my new years resolution public.
I've done this to make myself accountable, there is nothing more motivational than to declare to the world your dreams. Of course there are risks involved with doing this, like exposing yourself to ridicule and condemnation. But many good things can also come from this as well.
This is certainly a challenge of a lifetime. Maybe I am being naive and maybe I have bitten off more than I can chew. But as I say to my daughter. "The only time you ever fail in life is when you either don't try or you don't learn from your mistakes."
I'm looking forward to the coming years with a sense of apprehension and excitement.
